Kids get professional with Hunter
Kids will have a chance to get down to the ground with professional mountain biker Matt Hunter.
Hunter, who has been riding professionally for Specialized, Helly Hansen and other top sponsors for more than five years will be conducting summer biking camps again this summer. The first Matt Hunter Freeride Camp will be held July 14 to 18 at Sun Peaks and will cover all aspects of free riding, including overcoming obstacles and dirt jumps. Mountain bike set-up and maintenance will also be focused on. Riders will receive an autographed copy of Seasons by The Collective and a limited edition Sun Peaks bike park t-shirt when they sign up. Hunter says the camps will focus a lot on technical riding but mostly it's about having fun.
"We go out to have fun and also to work on everybody's skills," he says. "But mostly it's just a good time out riding."
