POSTED: 23 October, 2008 Get your flu shots
The Sun Peaks Medical Clinic will be giving flu shots on Friday, Nov. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The vaccine, which costs $22, will cover the three new influenzas. Chronic patients and people over 65 will receive the shots for free. People who will be late and can't make it at exactly 8 p.m. are advised to phone the clinic at 250-578-2014. "Please be flu-free," said Barb Brodie, clinic volunteer. "Get a shot and protect your friends and co-workers. We a're a small community-let's have a great season!" The clinic started giving flu shots five years ago with 19 patients. Last year, reception has grown to 48 patients. For more information, visit www.sunpeakshealth.com |
