Fake blood: Combine corn syrup with a few drops of very hot water and red food colouring until it reaches a pourable consistency. Drip it where you want and give it lots of time to dry. Adding a drop of green or blue food colouring will make the blood darker. Blood and gore: Add chunky peanut butter to the fake blood and apply liberally. Scars: Scars or wounds can be created by using pink and green tissue soaked in corn syrup. Home-made face paint: Combine 10 mls (2 tsp) cornstarch with 5 mls (1 tsp) moisturizer until well-blended. Add 5 mls (1 tsp) water and stir, then add food colouring of your choice to achieve the desired effect. Hair: Get your scissors out and raid an old stuffed toy or Barbie doll for hair. Stick it on with double-sided tape or use the glue that comes with fake eyelashes. You can also use the bristles from a paintbrush.
